Gioele Muglialdo will return to Germany on 23rd April next to climb the podium of the Münchner Symphoniker at the prestigious Gasteig cultural centre of Munich, the great hall that hosts international stars of the symphonic music world and opera (next guests will be Riccardo Muti and Jonas Kaufmann). The event is the preview showing, with live orchestra, of the new version of the film-documentary “Deutschland von oben” (“Germany from above”), with sound track by Boris Salchow, a cinema adaptation of the enormously successful ZDF TV documentary “Terra X – Deutschland von oben”. Its authors, the multi-award-winners Petra Höfer and Freddie Röckenhaus, captured a huge amount of images, which they selected and assembled from over 300 hours of filming, and set to the music of a deeply suggestive sound track. Maestro Muglialdo already conducted, in Germany, the first version of “Deutschland von oben”: at the Festhalle of Viersen (North Rhine-Westphalia), leading the Solisten der Essener Philharmoniker; and at the Liederhalle of Stuttgart, at the head of the Radio-Sinfonieorchester Pilsen.
