At the Rai Auditorium, the masterpieces of silent cinema are screened to live orchestral soundtracks. “Metropolis” by Fritz Lang (1927), is proposed in its completely restored version, two hours and twenty minutes long;
its careful reconstruction was made possible by the recovery of an almost complete copy of the film in Buenos Aires.
